BCCE 2026
Many OrganicERs community members will be attending the Biennial Conference on Chemical Education (BCCE) July 25-30. Here are some relevant links.

- If you're not yet a member of OrganicERs, you are welcome to apply for membership. It's free! Membership is limited to instructors of organic chemistry. (Everyone who approves membership requests will be attending BCCE. They will review the requests as soon as they are ablee to do so.)
- If you're interested in information about our Faculty Learning Communities (FLC) and Curriculum Development Teams (CDT), read about them here.
- To express an interest in joining an FLC or CDT, fill out the FLC/CDT application form.
- To help us define what undergraduate organic chemistry students should learn, participate in our research project on Learning Objectives and Skills Survey

- If you are already a member and appreciate the resources provided here, please consider donating via Give Lively so that we can begin offering DOIs to peer-reviewed submissions.
- Are you aware that you can submit material for peer review? If you have created active learning questions, course assignments, demonstrations, please submit your work for peer review. We will soon be able to assign DOIs to approved submissions.
Welcome
Welcome to the Organic Chemistry Educational Resources (OrganicERs) faculty learning community, a web-based community primarily designed for college-level instructors to network and to collaborate; and to access, share and develop curriculum materials. We recently added peer-reviewed content and are planning to provide DOIs for the peer-reviewed items. You're invited to support this endeavor by donating through the ACS Division of Organic Chemistry.
The organicers.org site provides free access to numerous resources. Once you have registered and signed in to the site (see menu above), you may add new resources, contribute curriculum materials and participate in discussions on the forums. Most of the discussion among OrganicERs members these days takes place in our Facebook group.
Participants in the 2025 Active Learning in Organic Chemistry virtual workshop will find valuable information and resources related to the workshop here. Access to the page is limited to workshop participants.
Participants in the 2023 Workshop can still visit this page for information and resources related to the workshop. Some workshop resources are available to others. Workshop material for the 2021 workshop participants can be found here. Materials for the2022 workshop are also available.
The OrganicERs Leadership Group oversees the activities of the community, promotes collaborations and seeks opportunities for educators and others with interests in teaching organic chemistry.
