Liquid-Liquid Extraction and Recrystallization

This is a slight modification of the article in J Chem Educ 1982, 59, 386.  This lab experiment involves the extraction of three different colored solids (azobenzene, m-nitroaniline, and benzoic acid) and the recrystallization of benzoic acid.  The lab is performed over a two week period.  The experimental procedure given to the students includes learning objectives and a list of the expections.
